The installer files created by Strogino CS Portal are distinct. They don't install to the usual Steam directories. Instead, the default installation path is C:\Program Files\Strogino CS Portal\Garrys Mod . The updater for this version is a dedicated launcher, Gmod_Updater.exe , which handles game patches and includes the emulated Steam files ( rev.ini ) needed for it to run and connect to unofficial servers.
